Originally from New York City, Crystal traveled throughout the United States and abroad as a military spouse. She officially made Texas her home in 1991. Her first degree AAS in Mental Health from Tarrant County College. After a brief internship she began work as in-patient Substance Abuse Caseworker for Tarrant County MHMR. In 1996 she went to work for the State of Texas as a Hospital Based Caseworker at JPS Hospital. Most recently Crystal has worked for the Fort Worth Police Department as

9-1-1 Operator /Dispatcher together with being a substitute Teacher for FWISD. She received her Bachelor Degree in 2012 and currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Organizational Management.

At Amazing Care Crystal works diligently alongside local agencies and residential care staff linking services to families and our residents. She is an amazing liaison for our residents; assessing needs, developing service plans, moral development, and personal goals to further their dignity and independence.

Socorro Vallejo has been with Woodforest since 2015. In her short Time with Woodforest she’s managed to grow in the company from retail banker to branch manager, And winning two awards for her branch in 2019. Out of almost 800 branches Socorro’s branch won #19 for retail deposit growth and #20 for community. She takes great pride in her career and wants to continue to grow. She is passionate about helping people and hopes represent herself as a symbol of peace and hope to those in need.

She is a single mother of a little girl. She values being a mother and strives to be the best version of herself. She enjoys learning new cooking recipes with her little girl and singing karaoke. She loves to laugh and enjoys Going to church.

Ashley Porras has been with Woodforest National Bank since 2012, recently promoted to Assistant Branch Manager in 2019. She is very passionate about her career and takes great pride in being involved in the community. Ashley grew up in the Houston area but the DFW will be her forever home.

She has been happily married for 10 years and together they have two beautiful little girls. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

She hopes to be a great asset to Amazing Care as she is to Woodforest National Bank.

Rick has an Ed.D. and MBA from the University of Phoenix. He has been a faculty member of four universities teaching accounting, finance, statistics, and business mathematics. Rick has ten years of experience writing grant requests to government agencies and private foundations.

He has consulted the formation of more than 20 non-profit organizations. Rick is a stroke survivor. He sees each day as a precious gift to be savored with its time and opportunities maximized.

Dr. Ronald Lester, MD is an internal medicine specialist who has been practicing for 19 years. He graduated from Meharry Medical College School Of Medicine in 1998 and specializes in internal medicine. Currently, Owner and Lead Field Physician at Guardian Visiting Physicians. Internal Medicine with a focus on Transitional care in the post acute environment. High acuity patients with multiple co-morbidities require more attention than time permits in a traditional office practices at times. Dr. Lester and his team provide in-home visits and are here to keep residents at Amazing Care out of the hospital whenever possible.
